Larry Willis

Larry Willis is an artist living in Chandler, Arizona, whose work spans nearly three decades. He was part of the seminal artist’s organization, Phoenix Artists Coalition, in the 1980s. He has had work exhibited at dozens of galleries, art centers and museums from Maine to California, including being twice selected to show at the Southwestern Invitational Exhibition and also selected two times for The Arizona Biennial at the Tucson Museum of Art.Among his solo exhibitions, he has been honored with two shows at the Arizona State Capitol Building, West Wing Gallery, in Phoenix, a solo show in the Phoenix Theater Lobby at the Phoenix Art Museum, Cafe Express Gallery in Flagstaff, Arizona, Schefflin Hall in Tombstone, Arizona, 2009 at TRYST Art Gallery in Chandler, and again 2011 at TRYST Art Gallery.
His work has appeared and/or been reviewed in NosArts Magazine (France). New Times, The Phoenix Gazette, Phoenix Magazine, Palace Costes Magazine (Paris, France), Superstition Review #6: (ASU online magazine), City Life/Arizona Republic, The Payson Roundup, The Arizona Daily Star, Wild West Magazine and True West Magazine, Newtimes Jackalope Ranch blog.
